The company, a joint venture between the leading business houses of Oman, OMZEST, Saud Bahwan Group & Suhail Bahwan Group, was incorporated in 1974 by a Royal Decree. We are now one of the largest manufacturing companies in the Sultanate of Oman with diverse product range and a stellar example of leadership through innovation, sustained growth and quality consciousness.

The product range of Amiantit Oman is spread across six verticals namely PVC pipes; HDPE pipes and fabrication products; Rotational molding products; Glass Reinforced Concrete applications; Glass Reinforced Plastic products & Precast concrete products.

As the first company to manufacture uPVC pipes in Oman, the first to introduce HDPE pipes, the first to establish manufacturing unit in the field of rotomolding, our aim is pioneer growth and development in the Sultanate. Across the years, our products have come to enjoy unrivalled preeminence as market leaders in Oman’s construction and infrastructure development sector.

Our plants are equipped with the state-of-the art machinery; every stage of production goes through rigorous internal quality assurance and quality control procedures that are at par with international standards. Our quality and Environment Management system, accredited with ISO 14001 and 18001, reflects our equal concern for environment care and occupational safety.

We take immense pride in our achievements which include bagging His Majesty’s Award for being one of the best five factories in the years 1993, 2000 and for years 2003 and 2004. The HM Shield for the best five factories in Oman won in 2009, 2010 and 2011 and the Best Industry Certificate from Ministry of Commerce and Industry received multiple times over the years are our other treasured triumphs.
